Accessibility at the Edinburgh Tool Library 1

Accessibility is important to us.

We want as many people as possible to be able to access our workshops, services and classes if they want to.

You’ll find at the bottom of this page a guide to our most accessible space, our Portobello Tool Library & Workshop, as well as an invitation to share any questions, feedback or suggestions!

Your access needs

Accessibility at the Edinburgh Tool Library 2
  • Do you have or know anyone who has an access need, like step-free access, seating in the workshops, or a BSL interpreter and who would like to use our workshops?
  • Do you need a specific environment to be able to use the workshops, like working with minimal interaction with other workshop users, or sensory-friendly lighting?
  • Or maybe you know there’s something holding you back from using ETL, but you don’t know exactly what it is! We definitely want to hear from you.

We’re focusing at the moment on making our Portobello workshop more accessible but are always open to feedback or collaboration on the accessibility of other aspects of the services we deliver. So do get in touch!

Email us with your suggestions on hello@edinburghtoollibrary.org.uk.
