Meet Douglas the Electric Lawn Mower – Maintaining a greener Scotland

We hope Douglas the Electric Lawn Mower will find a place in the hearts of green-fingered givers. In Edinburgh alone there are 130 square km of green space – the highest proportion of any UK city and a lot of grass that needs maintained. Our goal is to share these big bits of machinery across the city to reduce carbon consumption. Your donation will make sure Dougie is kept in excellent condition so he can whizz across as many lawns as possible, and together we can keep Scotland green.

From the start of June to the end of August 2019, at least one of our electric lawnmowers was on loan to members every week. Want to help Edinburgh stay green?
